Charlie Shedd, said he used to do a talk called, “Ten commandments for raising perfect children.” That was before he was married.

Then he was married to Martha and they had a child. He changed his talk to “Ten Hints for raising good children.”

They had a second child and he changed his talk to “a few tentative suggestions for fellow strugglers”

Then they had a third child and he stopped doing the talk all together.
